(RRCUS stats) Nika wins Best of Opposite Sex, Westminster Kennel Club at Madison Square Garden! She also competed for the first time as a Veteran and earned a 2nd place ribbon. Back-to-back Best in Veteran Sweeps at the Colorado Springs Kennel Club shows in June 2009 - way to go Nika! MuNashee displays his wonderful temperament and is a credit to his owners! At only 12 months old (the youngest a dog can be tested) Nash passes the Canine Good Citizen test and is now a certified therapy dog through Therapy Dog International. On the Field: Devin - FC Koda's Devout Endeavor at PVRR, JC - earns her AKC Field Championship in style, getting three 5-point majors in a row! Devin is out of our Lindy-Howie litter and only 14 months old - what a runner! Koda & Houston earn their JC titles in June at the Greater Twin Cities Afghan Hound Club tests! Smokin' 'em in Rally Obedience: Devin does it again - new title in one weekend! This time she qualified for her three Novice Rally legs on the Woofstock Circuit in California. Owner Lisa Adams: You're amazing!!! New CHAMPIONS: Ruger finishes his championship at the age of 12 months in only 9 shows from the BBE class - earning 3 major, two BBE Group placements, and one Best of Breed! He is Nika's 10th champ and the first to finish out of the Nika-Mafu litter. Katana finishes his AKC championship in Billings, MT on June 18th in just 12 shows with 4 majors! Introducing: CH Koda's Winridge Katana - he's Nika's 9th AKC champ. Buzz son, Willie, earns his championship in Oregon on May 7th, 2009. Introducing: Am/Int CH Tundra's Alaskan Dreammaker by Koda, JC - He's Buzz's 9th AKC champ! A few weeks later, Shimmer, another Buzz daughter, earns her AKC championship in Cambridge, MN - she is Buzz's 10th champion and earns him his ROM status! Introducing: CH Courage Tundra's Shimmering Lite, JC. Cholo (CH Koda's Cholo Punch) finishes his championship in style, going Best of Breed 4 times! Winning in the Show Ring: Kovu hits the show ring with a bang - sweeps the points in Sedalia, MO earning 4 more points towards his championship - owner handled! Great job Tessa! Bentley gets his first two points on May 17, 2009 at the Durango KC shows under Judge Jon Cole - Congrats to this sweet natured Cleo-Kai boy! Munashee goes Best of Breed on May 2nd 2009 at the Crawford County KC show, under Judge Joan Anselm- owner handled too! Congrats Diana on this great win! He also earns 4th place 9-12 mo. puppy sweeps at our National in Lansing, Michigan. Cujo earns 5 points in two weekends, and gets his first Best of Breed win! Cujo makes the cut in the 9-12 month class at the RRCUS National Specialty in Lansing, MI. Then 2 more points in Cambridge, MN in June 2009. Bree is awarded 2nd place in the Bred By Exhibitor class at the RRCUS National Specialty. Koda travels to Minnesota in June and gets WB two days - earning her 5 points, including a 3 pt major. Koda now only needs 2 points to finish her championship! Fisher (Koda's Mountain Magician by Masvingo) gets his first major (3 points) at the Evergreen KC shows on September 6th, 2008. Thank you Judge Richard Meen (Canada) for this exciting win at just 6 months and 2 weeks old! Fisher goes on to win 2 more points at shows in Purina Farms, and another 3 point major in Sioux Falls, SD. Fisher's third major - a 4 pointer - was earned at the pretigious Plum Creek KC shows in Denver, Feb. 2009! This handsome boy only needs 3 singles to finish now . . . Layla (Koda's You Got Me On My Knees, SC) was awarded her second major win (3 points) under Judge David Hiltz in Bismarck, ND. Layla gets two more points at the Heart of Iowa KC under Judges Terry and Jacqueline Stacey. Only 1 more point to go!
