Koda Rhodesian Ridgebacks only initiates a breeding when we have a full waiting list for puppies and when we find the absolutely perfect doggie match. We strive to improve the breed with every breeding and sometimes will keep an outstanding puppy to show and add to our breeding program. We screen future puppy homes carefully and insist on meeting all potential buyers in person, or have another reputable breeder in their area meet with them. All pet quality puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts. Because we usually have only one or two litters a year, it is recommended that prospective puppy buyers contact us well in advance of a breeding to insure a spot on our waiting list.
Koda puppies are raised in our home with lots of loving care, attention, and socialization. All of our puppies are guaranteed to be dysplasia free. We also screen for dermoid sinus, BAER, CERF, thyroid and cardiac defects. We use Carmen Battaglia's early neurological stimulation exercises known as "The Super Dog Program" - a technique which is used to train service and military dogs. We have found that this produces well adjusted, healthier puppies that make wonderful family pets. All puppies are temperament tested before leaving our home and every attempt is made to match individual puppy personalities with the perfect family.
